A restoration and bespoke furniture project for a private home.
As a longstanding client of Boyes Design, we have had the privilege of journeying through the process of refurbishing this private home for a number of years.
Most recently the client was in need of more storage in their main bedroom and approached us to discuss designing, making and installing bespoke wardrobes and drawers alongside refurbishing their feature staircase.
We were able to restore their feature staircase by stripping back the previous finish, adding new oak veneer and refinishing and refining it to give it the modern aesthetic they hoped for.
We supported the client through the design process as they had clear goals and ideas in mind. We were able to bring their vision to life by consulting with them to align their design ideas with the functionality they needed day by day, including internal draw design, built in mirrors within the doors, automatic lights and a Farrow & Ball colour sprayed in their chosen finish.
